About us
Founded in 2000, Eco Assessments is an ecological and environmental management consultancy located in Johannesburg South Africa that focuses on promoting sustainable development in the various projects we assist land developers with. Our expertise ranges from the understanding and application of the legally required National Environmental Management Act (107 of 1998) processes and procedures that development applications need to comply to when seeking to undertake a listed activity, to the identification, mapping, evaluation and assessment of natural ecosystems, plants, animals, sensitive habitats including the planning and management thereof.
Our portfolio of projects includes studies of the environment that can be encapsulated in an average sized residential plot of land to large mixed use residential estates, bulk infrastructure projects and strategic planning intiatives.
